Transform your mobile with Gemini and NotebookLM: discover the new notebooks in the attachments menu!

It is now possible to incorporate NotebookLM notebooks through Gemini into the mobile app, which not only simplifies handling, but also enables the use of reasoning mode. In Spain, You can now use the “+” button to add a notebook directly from the mobile application.

In December, the web version of Gemini was updated to impressively include NotebookLM, and now this functionality is also available on Android, adding as a novelty a redesign in the “+” button options list.

Before, according to 9to5Googlethis list featured the Camera, Gallery, Files and Drive icons in a lateral format similar to capsules.

With the integration of “NotebookLM”, the interface now shows a conventional listsimilar to the tools or AI model selection in Gemini.

The objective is to standardize the entire interface using the same design style or pattern, with a pop-up menu from the bottom, thus facilitating the choice between various options.

But perhaps the highlight of this update is the ability to click on NotebookLM to display the list of notebooks that we have associated with our Google account in both applications.

It is now available in Spain through version 17.2 of the Google application on Android, according to tests carried out by EL ESPAÑOL – El Androide Libre.

This allows us to use any of the three AI models after upgrading to Gemini 3 Pro at the end of last year.

Although NotebookLM already operates with the most advanced Gemini model, the option to choose between one or the other model when using a notebook NotebookLM makes the experience more flexibleresulting in more agile responses, especially with the “Flash” model.

Google offers the possibility of using the notebooks that NotebookLM creates to illustrate with Nano Banana or to create diagrams with any type of information.

In short, greater flexibility is offered so that the user can decide what best suits them.

There is another improvement in the new version of the Google application for the AI Mode home screen on Android and iOS, equating it to the web version.

Changed the welcome message from “Meet AI Mode” to “Hello [Nombre]”What do you have in mind?”

An application that continues to constantly add new features and could be close to including new experimental functions for its AI models.
